Opening a Mystery Box in Pokémon GO causes Meltan to appear for a limited time. Touch a Meltan you see on the field map, and then try to catch it with a Poké Ball. By collecting 400 Meltan Candies, you can evolve this Steel-type Pokémon into the powerful Melmetal.

In your Pokémon List, you can view the Pokémon you've moved to Pokémon HOME as well as their Abilities and moves. If you've enrolled in the paid Premium Plan, you'll also have access to the Judge function. Battle Data - A smartphone-exclusive features which allows you to check the Ranked Battles and Online Competitions of Pokémon Sword and Shield. Here you can see the battle records for each Trainer, which moves are popular in competitions and the rankings of Pokémon used in said competitions. You can now take on another Trainer at any time in Pokémon GO. With Trainer Battles, you can match up against another Trainer by using a Battle Code, then face off using a team of three Pokémon. When the battle is over, both participants receive great rewards, including a chance at rare Evolution items. The Pokemon Company notes, "The features related to adding and managing friends in Pokemon Home cannot be used by users under the age of 16." The Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Home is compatible with both Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee and Pokemon Sword and Shield. Additionally, both the Switch and mobile versions of the service are able to connect with Pokemon Bank, allowing you to bring your Pokemon over from 3DS to Switch. Though Pokémon Home has a free option, as shown above, there is a premium tier which expand the number of Pokémon you can deposit - from 30 to a whopping 6,000. It's also important to know that if a Pokémon orginally from Let's Go, Pikachu! Is transferred into Sword and Shield, it can not be moved back to either of the Let's Go games. Pokémon placed in the Wonder Box can be traded with people around the world before you even know it! The Pokémon placed in the Wonder Box will be traded even when you're not using Pokémon HOME.
Once they boot it up, they'll be greeted by a notice telling them they've received two gifts. From there, they'll be able to claim both Squirtle and Bulbasaur, adding them into their box of Pokemon. It's a simple process and one that means players can hop into aPokemongame of their choosing and begin training their newest recruits. The Global Trade System allows you to offer up a Pokemon in exchange for a specific monster. You can specify which particular Pokemon you're looking for--even if you don't have it registered in Pokemon Home's National Dex--down to its gender and level. When another player offers a Pokemon that matches your criteria, the monsters will automatically be traded.

For those who missed the reveal of both games earlier this year, they'll be remakes of the Nintendo DS classicsPokemon DiamondandPearl,which took place in the Sinnoh region. Although the two new titles haven't been confirmed to supportPokemon Home,it seems likely considering Nintendo has pitched it as a hub that will connect future iterations of the iconic series. Grabbing the two Pokemon is pretty simple provided players have the Pokemon Home app.
Each Pokémon has two kinds of attacks, and can also dodge the defending Pokémon's attacks if you swipe left or right. If your Pokémon win the battle, the motivation of the defending Pokémon is reduced. When the motivation of each defending Pokémon drops to zero, the defending team loses control of the Gym, and you or another player can then take control of it by assigning a Pokémon to defend it. The fast-paced battles take place in real time, and your Pokémon can use both their Fast Attacks and Charged Attacks. Just keep an eye on your opponent's attacks, and deploy a Protect Shield to save your Pokémon from taking critical damage. Be careful, though—you only have a limited number of Protect Shields before your Pokémon will be left defenseless against big attacks.
Pokémon GO features all-new music composed by GAME FREAK's Junichi Masuda. Mr. Masuda has worked on Pokémon games since the very beginning and has composed many of the classic and memorable songs that have inspired fans for decades. At a certain point in the game, you'll be asked to join one of three teams. Once you join a team, you'll gain the ability to assign your Pokémon to open Gym locations or to a Gym where a teammate has already assigned a Pokémon. Each player can place only one Pokémon per Gym, so you'll need to work together with other members of your team to build up a strong defense. There's another way to build your Friendship level, and that's by trading Pokémon!
